Location Description
Riverbridge is a planned mixed-use village located on 112 acres of land in South Berlin, MA. Within the Village Overlay District (“VOD”), Riverbridge and its partners, pad purchasers and tenants are entitled to develop a total of 205 dwellings and 148,000 square feet of neighborhood retail. When completed, about 300 people will live at Riverbridge and about 100 employees are expected to work at this exciting rural but urban-feeling new village.

In 2010 Riverbridge North, LLC purchased from the Risi family 112 acres of land located adjacent to the Solomon Pond Mall on Donald Lynch Boulevard. All Major Permits In Hand
Riverbridge has procured all required major permits to proceed with its mixed-use development. This includes full DEP and MEPA approval. A list of all procured permits is available on request. As Riverbridge is developed, no Special Permits are required. For each new phase of development, Riverbridge must obtain Site Plan Approval from the Planning Board. During Site Plan Review roads, infrastructure and buildings may be moved around the site as desired by Riverbridge and approved by the Board.


The site is located less than a mile from I-290, the Solomon Pond Mall and many national retailers and restaurants. The 10 mile radius numbers indicate a total population of 249,552 in 95,314 households with a $79,462 average income. The trade area is best described as "a mix of affluent suburbs, urban density and strong daytime population."
