David S. Perlmutter formed Perlmutter Properties Inc., in 1989, as a New York licensed real estate brokerage. Perlmutter Properties Inc. specializes in retail leasing and consulting; concentrating on revitalization in densely populated suburban and urban areas. The company maintains its office in Fairfield County, enabling it to serve its clients in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Perlmutter Properties has concluded deals with major national tenants including Super Stop & Shop, Pathmark, Grand Union, Wal-Mart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Regal Cinemas, Marshalls, Staples, Old Navy, Dress Barn, Party City, and Starbucks. Perlmutter Properties Inc. is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Perlmutter Properties is also a founding member of the Resolution Realty Network.

In conjunction with Kenneth Narva and Matthew Kroin of StreetWorks/ PEG/Park LLC, a leading architectural firm, and Howard Menaker, Mr. Perlmutter formed DKH Inc. to develop and rehabilitate shopping centers. Since 1990, DKH has completed over 1,200,000 square feet of retail space. Projects include Ridgeway Shopping Center, Stamford, Connecticut; Ferry Plaza, Newark, New Jersey; The Village at Livingston, New Jersey; New Roc City, New Rochelle, New York; and Watchung Commons, Watchung, New Jersey and Palisades Court, Englewood, New Jersey.
In 2015, Mr. Perlmutter founded Jeomark, LLC, which operates the QuantumListing commercial real estate listing service. David S. Perlmutter, is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island where he earned his B.A. in economics and comparative literature. Mr. Perlmutter is married, with four children, and lives in Ridgefield, CT. Mr. Perlmutter is the former Commissioner of Chappaqua AYSO, an active alum of Brown University and The Pingry School, and a past chairman of the Franklin Furnace Archive, Inc., the Horace Greeley Scholarship Fund, and the Chappaqua Farmers Market.
