Marty Norkett, Director of Commercial Education and Commercial Real Estate Broker with Keller Williams Commercial, has 54 years of experience in the commercial real estate marketplace as an Asset Manager in roles ranging from real estate broker to commercial real estate operation ownership. Marty entered the industry with Chicago building management company Draper and Kramer and worked as Manager and Supervisor of their real estate agents. He co-developed their commercial real estate department and was responsible for leasing all types of space. Throughout his career, Marty pursued entrepreneurial enterprises such as managing multi-million dollar real estate investment portfolios and developing shopping centers and multi-unit residential living complexes for investors and institutions. His extensive work includes the restructuring of commercial assets, development of complete financial packages, resolving zoning issues, and acting as a consultant to financial institutions.
Mr. Norkett has managed the real estate activities including feasibility, acquisition, master planning/urban planning, design/construction management, entitlement process/government approvals, marketing, contract/lease negotiations, tenant coordination, financial analysis/cost control, financing and/or asset management of Projects.
